Party Invite

I was hired recently to design a birthday party invite. The theme was bowling so I ran with it and came up with this – it was fun to work on. FYI – I crossed out the RSVP info line out of respect for my friend’s privacy. I left it in mainly to provide a sense of the layout.

I created Lovechild as an amalgamation of several favourite typefaces and to use in my collaboration with illustrator Pomme Chan… I created the piece first in illustrator, then using watercolours at A2 size. I then turned the piece over to Pomme who embellished it in her unique style…
